Object of the Week- Corning Museum of Glass
It looks like an igloo or blocks of ice, but Bernard Dejonghe's sculpture Cercle (Circle) is made of glass that has beeen formed by the intense heat of kiln. The artist cast clear glass and the chiseled the surface to create a wheathered look.
